West Bromwich Albion have been reacting to Mislav Orsic’s stunning display for Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League against Tottenham on Thursday.

Zagreb were 2-0 down against Spurs after the first leg of their round of 16 tie. However, in the return clash, Orsic was in fantastic form as he scored a hat-trick to take his side through 3-2 on aggregate. The Croatian outfit will now play Villarreal in the quarter-finals.

It will have been slightly bitter for West Brom supporters, though. The Baggies were heavily linked to the Croatia international last year while they were in the Championship, with Zagreb said to be looking for £9m at the time to part ways with him (The Express and Star).

With 53 goals in 122 games for Zagreb despite being a winger (Transfermarkt), he clearly knows where the back of the net is, and he has the quality Sam Allardyce and co could do with as they aim to stay in the Premier League. One supporter called it a ‘shambles’.
