Leeds fans have shot down any optimism surrounding their Championship campaign after their 2-0 loss against Brentford meant that the team will most likely miss out on automatic promotion this season.
The Whites finished in 13th place last season and despite now being guaranteed a spot in the top four this term, fans aren’t happy with how it has all turned out.
The Yorkshire club had been in pole position to be promoted for the majority of the campaign but it now looks like they have fallen at the final hurdle.

BBC Sport broadcaster Adam Pope tweeted: “When the pain of this weekend subsides let’s remember that Bielsa has #lufc in a position nobody expected 44 games ago. Crack on!”
But his optimism was met with a fiery reaction from the fanbase who shot down any suggestion that this season had been a success.
Marcelo Bielsa and his side may well have thrown away their greatest chance at returning to the Premier League and Leeds fans are less than happy despite a remarkable improvement from this time last year.
