According to AS (via Sport Witness), Barcelona’s Denis Suarez has revealed that Arsenal is his ‘favourite option’ as he looks to secure a move away from the Nou Camp as soon as possible.

The midfielder has fallen way down the pecking order under Ernesto Valverde; making only one appearance thus far this season, the 24-year-old is keen to find pastures new.

With Aaron Ramsey currently set to run down his contract, questions remain over who will replace the Welshman if he is indeed allowed to depart for free in the summer – there is no confirmed interest from the Gunners but the Spaniard’s comments prove that, should his fellow countryman Unai Emery be on the phone in the upcoming transfer window, he would relish a move to the Emirates.

Chelsea have also been linked with the former Villarreal man as Maurizio Sarri was keen on the midfielder when he was Napoli boss, and reports suggest that he still maintains that interest.
